Singer Pink (pictured) turns 43 today while Swedish hit-maker and DJ Avicci, who died in April 2018, would have turned 32. British actor Martin Freeman, of The Office, turns 51, while Scottish singer-guitarist Ray Wilson, former singer with Genesis, turns 54 today.

Queen Elizabeth died on this day in 2022, aged 96. The longest-living and longest-reigning British monarch, she died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Actor David Arquette turns 51 today, while comic actor Peter Sellers, who died in 1980, aged 54, was born on this day in 1925.

Today, in 1968, marked the premiere of the Oscar-winning film, Funny Girl, starring Barbra Streisand and Omar Shariff. Also on this day, in 1963, Oscar-winning actress Geraldine Page, then 38, married actor Rip Torn, six years her junior, in Arizona.
