Singer Pink (pictured) turns 38 today while Swedish hit-maker and DJ Avicci turns 28 and British actor Martin Freeman, of The Office, turns 46. Scottish singer-guitarist Ray Wilson, former singer with Genesis, turns 49 today.

Actor David Arquette turns 46 today, while comic actor Peter Sellers, who died in 1980, aged 54, was born on this day in 1925.

Today, in 1968, marked the premiere of the Oscar-winning film, Funny Girl, starring Barbra Streisand and Omar Shariff. Also on this day, in 1963, Oscar-winning actress Geraldine Page, then 38, married actor Rip Torn, six years her junior, in Arizona.

Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty rose to the top of the South African singles  chart on this day in 1978, and stayed put for eight weeks. Just saying…
