Singer and actress Angela Lansbury (pictured) turns 96 today, while American singer-guitarist John Mayer turns 44 and Flea, bassist with hit band Red Hot Chili Peppers, turns 59.  Bob Weir, former guitarist with Grateful Dead, turns 74 today.

Actor Tim Robbins turns 63 today and British singer-songwriter Shayne Ward, best known as the 2005 winner of the UK The X Factor, turns 37.

It was on this day in 1923 that the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio was founded in the United States, while actress, screenwriter and model Nikki Reed, then aged 24, married singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, then 27, in Malibu on this day in 2011.
