Actor Josh Duhamel  (pictured) turns 45 today while Prince Charles turns 69 and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker turns 42.

The film Network premiered on this day in 1976, in Los Angeles, and went to on to scoop an Oscar the following year for Peter Finch as Best Actor. It was awarded posthumously. The film also starred Faye Dunaway.

On this day in 1991, the Michael Jackson video, Black and White, had its first flighting.

This day in 2015 saw James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson star in a Broadway revival of the D L Coburn Pulitzer Prize-winning  play, The Gin Game.

The Elvis Presley  hit, Suspicious Minds, rose to the top of the South African singles chart on this day in 1969. The song spent six weeks in the top spot. Just saying…
