Jean Stapelton, who starred in the hit TV series, All in the Family, died on this day in 2013, aged 90.

It was on this day in 1969 that John Lennon and Yoko Ono recorded Give Peace a Chance, while the very same day Stevie Wonder released his classic, My Cherie Amore.

On this day in 1996, John Glover and Jane Krakowski headed the cast of a Broadway update, by Fredya Thomas, of the classic Moliere satire, Tartuffe, retitled Tartuffe: Born Again. It ran for only 25 performances and closed less than a month later.
