Screen and stage star Lainie Kazan turns 82. Singer Trini Lopez was born in this day in 1937 and died, aged 84, in 2020.

Geri Halliwell, formerly of The Spice Girls, wed F1 racing team boss Christian Horner on this day in 2015.

Perfect by Scottish band Fairground Attraction, fronted by Eddi Reader, was crowning the UK singles chart on this day in 1988. It spent a week in the top spot. Just saying…
