This Day in Showbiz History… March 21

ON THIS DAY IN 2023:

Film and stage star Matthew Broderick  (pictured) and actress and talk show host Rosie O’Donnell both turn 61 today, while former James Bond, Timothy Dalton, turns 77 and Roger Hodgson, singer and composer for Supertramp, turns 73.

On this day in 1963, a then-20-year-old Barbra Streisand married actor Elliot Gould, aged 24, with whom she had a son. It was also on this day, in 1945, that a then-44-year-old Humphrey Bogart wed a then-20-year-old  Lauren Bacall.

Actor Bruce Willis also wed on this day – tying the knot in 2009, when he was 52, with model and actress Emma Harding, then aged 29.

On this day in 1977,  Living Thing by ELO was crowning the Springbok Radio chart, where it remained for one week. Just saying…
