Rapper Macklemore turns 38 today while actress Zoe Saldana turns 44 and Ann Wilson, lead singer with Heart, turns 72. Singer, choreographer and former So You Think You Can Dance judge Paula Abdul turns 60.

Bob Dylan completed his first UK tour on this day in 1964, three years to the day before Paul McCartney admitted on TV that he took LSD.

On this day in 2005, Darren Hayes, lead singer with Savage Garden, then 34, married Richard Cullen in London.

On the film scene, this day in 1956 marked the end of the on-screen partnership of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, after 16 movies together. Also, this day in 1992 marked the release of Batman Returns, teaming Michael Keaton as the caped crusader, Danny Devito as Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman

Adam Ant was crowning the UK singles chart on this day in 1982 with Goody Two Shoes, his final No 1. His last Top 10 was in 1983. Just saying…
