Actor Aaron Paul, of TV’s Breaking Bad, turns 34 today while Swedish actor Peter Stormare, seen in TV’s Fargo and Prison Break, turns 69. Actress Barbara Bach (pictured), seen in the 007 hit The Spy Who Loved Me,  turns 75 today.

The movie Roman Holiday, with Audrey Hepburn, was released on this day in 1951, while on this day in 2005, actor Robert Downey jnr married producer Susan Levin in New York.

Musician Stevie Ray Vaughan died on this day in 1990.

Today in 2011 saw the closure at London’s Adelphi Theatre of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Love Never Dies, sequel to Phantom of the Opera.  It ran for less than 18 months.

The Bombalurina disco revamp of the 1960 Brian Hyland hit, Itsy Bitsey Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, was topping the UK singles chart on this day in 1990. It stayed there for three weeks. Just saying…
