Actor Antonio Banderas (pictured) turns 62 today, while model and reality TV star Kylie Jenner turns 25 today, actress Rosanna Arquette turns 63 and Scottish-born Ian Anderson, frontman of Jethro Tull, turns 75.

Ronnie Spector, vocalist with The Ronettes, who died at age 78 on January 12, 22 was born on this day in 1943, while Ryan Eggold, star of 90210 and The Blacklist, turns 39.

Jack Haley, who played Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, was born on this day in 1897. He died in 1979. Actress Norma Shearer was also born on this day, in 1902. She died in 1983.

Today is also of note in that is marked the wedding of Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley. That was in Hawaii in 2002.

The Abba hit, The Winner Takes It All, was crowning the UK singles chart on this day in 1980. It spent two weeks at No 1 and marked the Swedish group’s eighth No 1 hit in the UK. Just saying…
