On this day in 1982, Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, then 33, wed TV host Sharon Arden, then 29, in Hawaii.

Local singer and actor Ian von Memerty turns 61 today. Actress Gina Lollobrigida, who died aged 95 on January 16, 2023, was born on this day in 1927.
Singer-actress Ute Lemper turns 62 today and English singer John Waite, who had a big hit with Missing You, celebrates his 73rd birthday. Musician Bill Withers was born on this day in 1938. He died on March 30, 2020, aged 81.
