Maureen McGovern, who had a hit with The Morning After, from the ’70s film The Poseidon Adventure, turns 77 today. Note, too, that Taylor Schilling, blonde principal star of TV’s Orange is the New Black, turns 42 today.
The musical Little Shop of Horrors had its off-Broadway premiere on this day in 1982. It went on to be turned into a 1986 film directed by Frank Oz, starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.
