TV star Kelsey Grammer (pictured) turns 70 today, and the daughter of Michael Jackson, Blanket Jackson, turns 23. Also, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt turns 46 and TV star Tyne Daly turns 79. William Baldwin turns 62 and Ellen Page turns 38.

Playbill reports that on this day in 1991, Neil Simon preserved his stronghold on Broadway as Lost in Yonkers opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The Tony- and Pulitzer-winning comedy/drama starred Mercedes Ruehl, Irene Worth and Kevin Spacey.

The song topping the South African Springbok Radio chart this week in 1987 was Everybody Have Fun Tonight by American Wang Chung. It spent two weeks at No 1. Just saying…
