TV star Kelsey Grammer (pictured) turns 71 today, and the daughter of Michael Jackson, Blanket Jackson, turns 24. Also, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt turns 47 and TV star Tyne Daly turns 80. William Baldwin turns 63 and Ellen Page turns 39.

Playbill reports that on this day in 1991, Neil Simon preserved his stronghold on Broadway as Lost in Yonkers opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The Tony- and Pulitzer-winning comedy/drama starred Mercedes Ruehl, Irene Worth and Kevin Spacey.

The song topping the South African Springbok Radio chart this week in 1987 was Everybody Have Fun Tonight by American Wang Chung. It spent two weeks at No 1. Just saying…
