COMEDIAN Mark Banks returns to Durban soon with his acclaimed one-man show, Mark Banks on Ice – and two followers of this site will win four tickets each to attend the opening performance at 8pm on Wednesday, March 18, at the Rhumbelow theatre at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof.

Mark Banks on Ice will be staged in Kloof from Wednesday to Sunday, March 18 to 22, at 6pm nightly but at 2pm on the Sunday. Tickets cost R160 each (R140 for pensioners and students with valid cards) and booking is at Computicket or by phoning Roland at 082 499 8636.
The show sees Banks chat about all and sundry – and he says he has no idea how these random, outrageous, sometimes obscene thoughts come to him; they just do.
Sometimes they come in the form of a dream and other times in the form of a Rottweiler with his grandmother’s face. Both are equally terrifying, but he will continue to pursue these thoughts to bring you the best in his particular brand of wildly entertaining comedy.
In this new show, devised to celebrate his 60th birthday last year, Banks discusses all the things you’ve been thinking about, along with topics such as extreme security measures, Elon Musk’s plans for world domination, and running into people from your high school who haven’t died yet and coping with life in general!
