EVERYTHING from pop, rock, novelty and dance hits to one-hit wonders and boy-band classics feature in the new party show that opens the 2020 season at the Rockwood Theatre at Sibaya Casino, near Umhlanga.
The show is Nothing But ’90s , running from January 30 to April 5, and one lucky subscriber to the SoSuterBill site has the chance to win a prize of eight tickets to attend any performance of the show, subject to availability. Details on how to enter the competition appear at the end of this story.
Nothing But ’90s features Durban darling Marion Loudon as host and lead vocalist, alongside fellow singers Granville Michaels and Jessica De Wet. The band comprises guitarist Sheldon von Grimm, drummer Dillan Kanny, saxophonist Mxolisi Mdlalose and dancers Savannah de Almeida and Sherwin Green.
Tickets for Nothing But ’90s cost R99 on Thursdays, R130 on Friday and Saturday nights, and also R130 on Sundays, when pensioners pay half-price. Children under 12 get in free for all performances from Thursday to Sunday.
