HOW would you like to be one of three winners of double tickets to attend the Durban Botanic Gardens concert by Ard Mathew (of Just Jinjer fame) and Louise Craver – at 6pm on Friday, February 14?

Details on how to enter this competition appear at the end of this story.

Old Mutual Music at the Lake, together with East Coast Radio, present this collaboration at the Durban Botanic Gardens this Valentine’s Day.

In a rare collaboration, the two, award-winning South African favourites are pairing up to entertain with some of the best love songs around.

For years, singer-songwriter Ard Matthews has been honing his craft. As the frontman of South African band Just Jinjer, his lyrics and arrangements led the way to the success of the band, whose debut album, All Comes Round, became one of the biggest-selling rock genre albums of all time in this country.

In 2012, Ard released his debut solo album to critical acclaim, and continues to perform as both a solo act as well as frontman for Just Jinjer.

Carver is a star in her own right. Having signed her first record deal at the age of 15, released a debut single at 17 and released her first full-length album at just 18, she’s wasted no time in creating award-winning, popular music.

Gates at Botanic Gardens will open at 5pm on February 14 and the music will start at 6pm with support acts Angel Mazibuko and Lulu Lund.

Tickets are available via  www.webtickets.co.za and cost R130 for adults, R80 for children between the ages of six and 12, and R10 for children under six.

Secure parking is available at the umPhafa venue at the Durban Botanic Gardens and concertgoers are invited to take their own food, drink, blankets and chairs.
