YOU may not know your Buble from your Bulsara, but if you’re a fan of crooner classics and love the music of Queen you are sure to enjoy the new supper theatre show headed for Kloof.
The show is Buble and Bulsara, referring to Michael Buble and Freddie Mercury of Queen (who was born Farrokh Bulsara , in 1946) – and it is being staged by Barnyard Theatre regular Jonothan Didlick, son of Gee Jays stalwart John Didlick.
The production is scheduled for 8pm on April 19 and 20, and 1.45pm on April 21, at the Rhumbelow Theatre at Tina’s Hotel,14 Beryldene Road, Kloof.

Jonothan last performed in Durban in his tribute to Canadian superstar Michael Bublé and then relocated to Gauteng to perform as Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury, on The Barnyard Theatre circuit, a role he has filled for some six years. He recently completed a run as Freddie Mercury at The Barnyard Theatre at Emperor’s Palace, Gauteng, in a show titled One Vision.
Jonothan is a big fan of both Buble and Mercury. In Buble and Bulsara, he hopes to capture the essence of both artists’ talents, while at the same time paying tribute to these two legends of modern music.
Expect to hear hits such as Mack the Knife, Heartache Tonight, It’s a Kinda Magic, The Great Pretender, Sway, Tie Your Mother Down, Everything, One Vision, We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You and Another One Bites the Dust.
