Two SA dates for Ed Sheeran

REDHEADED English chart-topper Ed Sheeran will be performing in Cape Town and Johannesburg in March next year – and tickets go on sale this week.

Big Concerts is bringing out the 27-year-old star for a South African visit which, sadly, will not include a Durban date.

Sheeran, whose many hits include Shape of You, Galway Girl, The A-Team, Sing, Perfect and Thinking Out Loud, will perform on Saturday, March 23, at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, then at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, March 27.

Tickets for the Cape Town concert go on sale at Computicket from 9am on Thursday, June 28, and are priced from R395 to R1360 each. Booking for the Johannesburg concert opens at 9am on Friday, June 29, with tickets selling for between R455 and R1385 each.

According toi Wikipedia, Sheeran has sold more than 26 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide, making him one of the world’s top-selling music artists. Two of his albums are on the list of the best-selling albums in UK chart history
