GOYA: VISION OF FIRE AND BLOOD **

Latest production from the current Exhibition on Screen season, this film focuses on Francisco Goya, Spain’s most celebrated artist, a gifted portrait painter and social commentator. Considered the father of modern art, influenced by Rembrandt and Velázquez, Goya explored a new realism where he was not afraid to reveal what he saw physically and psychologically. This production will be at Nouveau cinemas (and Ster-Kinekor Gateway) at 7.30pm on Saturday, 2.30pm Sunday and 7.30pm next Wednesday and Thursday. The running time is 96 minutes.

Excellent  entertainment from Durban band The Reals – with special guests vocalist Marion Loudon and guest guitarist Colin Peddie. Expect all the hits in a tight and hugely rewarding show. 8pm nightly until July 30 and again at 8pm nightly from next Wednesday to Friday (August 2 to 4).The band – with Durban favourites Dawn Selby on the keyboards, Barry Thomson on the guitar, Jason Andrew on the bass and Mali Sewell on drums – covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac. Expect to hear all your favourites – Little Lies, I Wonder, Say That You Love Me, Everywhere, Landslide, Dreams and then some. Seating is at tables of six and tickets cost R150.
